Desired Skills and Experience :

- Must have Strong experience in Selenium Automation Testing with Java or any other lang 

- 2-6 years of working experience in Automation script for UI APIs Scripting expertise in Java Ruby or any other scripting language

- Basic understanding of RESTful web services API making the call reading response

- Basic knowledge or Experience on Pega Applications

- Good Experience with SQL and ability to query and validate data

- Experience with build and integration tools like Jenkins, Github, Maven will add advantage

- Ability to dig deeper into test failures and able to identify the root cause

- Excellent Team player with strong collaboration skills

- Ability to learn new languages frameworks quickly

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, Develop and enhance the QA automation framework and test cases

- Automate front end and backend applications 

- Manage execution of testing efforts including meeting committed delivery dates for released and soon to be released applications and components

- Work with product owners and developers to understand requirements and resolve issues

- Mentor and help team members

- Own the QA defect processes and documentation and ensure that a standard process is being followed across the organization and that proper tooling and reporting are in place

- Understand business objectives and build alignment and buy-in cross-functionally

- Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into manual and or automatable scenarios

- Utilize Quality Center ALM for test planning test execution and defect management

- Provide ownership and accountability for assigned testing keeping aware of progress and risks per milestone

- Provide effective communication regarding issues objectives initiatives and performance measurements against set plans

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SDLC and QA s role during each phase Knowledge in Automotive domain will be an advantage
